zucchini and basil lasagna
There was no pasta on the 13th as I was at the beach, where everyone had bought something from home and we just reheated using the oven (our contribution was a chicken pie).
Today's post is a small cheat, as I didn't have pasta either -- on sunday people wanted to eat something else, so the lasagna recipe I had selected for easter lunch was prepared today, which is another holiday entirely, with no relation to easter. But as every holiday is a bit of a sunday, I chose to post this. I kept forgetting to take pictures of my plate, and only remembered to do so when I went for an extra serving.
This was very tasty, and I loved the crispy bits I got on my lasagna. It is a pity we had something else for easter -- I think this coupled with some fish would've made for a nice meal.
