Fusilli with potato, leek and nuts
This is another Rachel Roddy recipe. Thinking about how I keep going through her texts lately, I feel I've been more-or-less avoiding american recipes. Most of them make me feel too much: I feel jealous about the sheer amount of options available at upper middle class U.S.A. grocery stores, I regret I couldn't take advantage of the markets in Portugal, I feel angry at my current situation and I feel outraged at how much of a show day-to-day becomes in the internet today, at how much it is swallowed by the capital.
So pared down recipes are good, even the ones I manage to screw up because I undercooked the fusilli. I hope to get back to the right pasta mindset soon.
